KROSNO is a deductive logic puzzle. Place wooden Pegs into holes on the board so that the Cords stretched between them match all clues on the edges and plaques.

The Board: Holes vs. Wooden Plaques

Every cell on the board is either an empty Drilled Hole or a nailed Wooden Plaque:

⭕ Drilled Holes Pegs Allowed
Click to place a Peg, or right-click / tap again to mark with a helper X when you know a hole must stay empty.
🟫 Wooden Plaques (0, 1, 2) No Pegs
There is no hole here — you can never place a Peg on a plaque. However, cords can freely stretch right over them!

Plaques block Pegs, but allow Cords over them

Placing Pegs & Automatic Cord Tension

As soon as you place all required Pegs in a row or column, a Cord automatically stretches tightly between the first and last Peg in that line.

💡 Crucial Rule: Every placed Peg counts simultaneously toward both its horizontal row and its vertical column!

How Many Pegs per Line? (Dots: • / •• / •••)

Look at the dots (sockets) under each row and column tag to see how many Pegs belong in that line:

1 Peg •
Place 1 Peg. Because a single Peg has no partner, no cord stretches in this direction (tag shows "—").
2 Pegs ••
Classic line: place 2 Pegs. A single cord stretches directly between them.
3 Pegs •••
Place 3 Pegs. The cord stretches from the 1st Peg, passes right through the middle Peg, and ends at the 3rd Peg.
